Glass Heating Emulsification Reactor Vacuum Emulsifier

RA002

Glass heating emulsification reactor is a versatile laboratory or pilot-scale apparatus designed for creating stable, homogeneous mixtures of immiscible liquids (like oil and water) through high-shear mixing combined with precise temperature control.

Constructed primarily of borosilicate glass, the reactor offers excellent chemical resistance and allows for clear visual observation of the entire emulsification process. The key component is a high-speed mechanical stirrer, often a rotor-stator homogenizer or ultrasonic probe, which generates intense shear forces to break down dispersed phase droplets into micron or sub-micron sizes.

Integrated heating, typically via an external jacket or immersion heater, is a critical feature. It lowers viscosity for more efficient mixing, melts solid components, or facilitates specific chemical reactions alongside emulsification. Precise temperature regulation ensures process reproducibility.

This reactor is ideal for research, development, and small-batch production across pharmaceuticals (creams, ointments), cosmetics (lotions), food science (sauces), and nanotechnology (nanoemulsions). Its advantages include superior visibility, easy cleaning, corrosion resistance, and the ability to optimize both particle size distribution and process temperature—all within a single, transparent vessel.
